Meet Heather N. Sugrue

Heather N. Sugrue is the founder of Chrysalys Bio and a passionate advocate for helping CDMOs operate the right way—ethically, practically, and with both purpose and profit.

She believes CDMO success isn’t about capacity or contracts alone. With two decades of in-house experience at leading CDMOs—including Patheon, Bend Biosciences (formerly Recro), Syngene, Catalent and Matica—Heather has built commercial infrastructure from the ground up. She’s led efforts to strengthen business development strategy, improve internal alignment, and streamline execution across functions. Her work consistently delivered stronger pipelines, faster turnaround times, and more reliable revenue performance—laying the foundation for the frameworks she now brings to clients through Chrysalys Bio.
